Experience from AS coursework
The experience of producing the AS coursework has allowed me to develop many new skills. Allow me to discover the things that I've never tried or never know before, like use DSLR camera to filming, use Premiere Pro to editing, it allows me to have a better understanding on equipment choice and use of media language, but also made me more prepared for the A Level coursework.
Introducing the A Level coursework
This year I choose to produce a documentary package for my A Level coursework, my blog will also be set up at the outset of the research stage and also will maintained regularly, outlining the research, planning and production stages, including refinement, reflection and editing choices.
Initial plan
1. Build up and maintain a blog to record the processes
2. Select the set brief
3. Start to research on the codes and conventions of the chosen media form, generic conventions, use of technical, symbolic and written codes and, where applicable, use of sound and links to other media platforms
